Virtual CSBD IOP across Texas

Virtual intensive outpatient program for compulsive sexual behavior, serving men anywhere in Texas by secure telehealth. Same eight-week arc and price.

One program, delivered statewide

Iron Ridge runs the same eight-week clinical arc by secure telehealth to men anywhere in Texas. Same nine to twelve clinical hours a week, same three phases, same clinicians, same assessments at baseline, week four, week eight, and six-month follow-up. Same price as attending in Austin.

This is not a reduced version of the in-person program. It is the program, delivered to a different room.

Who this is for

Men outside the Austin metro — Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, San Antonio, El Paso, the Valley, West Texas, and every town between — for whom no local program offers treatment built specifically around compulsive sexual behavior.

It is also for men inside the metro whose schedule, travel, or need for discretion makes a fixed in-person commitment unrealistic. Attending consistently matters considerably more than attending in person.

What you need

A private space where you will not be overheard, a reliable connection, and a device with a camera. The privacy of the space is the part that matters; the equipment rarely is.

Our clinicians are licensed in Texas, so you need to be physically located in Texas during sessions. That is a licensing requirement rather than a preference, and it applies to every session.

Partner programming works the same way

If you have a partner, she is treated as a separate client with her own intake, her own clinician, and her own clinical record — delivered by telehealth on the same terms. Her care runs on her timeline, not yours, and it is included in the program cost.

Why a Texas-only program

Because a clinician can only practise where they are licensed, and because a program serving one state can build a referral network, a partner track, and a level of clinical specificity that a national telehealth platform generally cannot.

Next step

The consult call is a clinical conversation, not a sales call. A licensed member of the clinical team replies within one business day, nothing is charged, and if Iron Ridge is not the right level of care we will say so and point you toward what is.

The program

Iron Ridge runs a men-only intensive outpatient program for compulsive sexual behavior disorder (CSBD, ICD-11 6C72) and related patterns — pornography compulsivity, sexual compulsivity, sex and love addiction, online sex addiction, and repeated infidelity. Care is led by Ian Birdwell, LPC, CSAT, with concurrent Partner & Family Programming led by Roxcy Brown, LMFT-Associate, CCPS-C (supervised by Billy Myers, LMFT-S, Texas license 201183).

The clinical arc is 8 weeks, 9–12 clinical hours per week, 72–96 total hours: Stabilization (weeks 1–3), Trauma Processing (weeks 4–6), and Relapse Prevention (weeks 7–8). Group and individual sessions are structured around the same plan across every man in the cohort, without being generic.

Who this is for

The men we treat are usually working, often high-functioning, and rarely looking for a group therapy experience for its own sake. They are looking for a clinical structure that meets a real diagnostic threshold, discreetly, and gets to work.

You do not have to name it out loud on the first call. If you are here, that is enough to start a private conversation with our team.

How care is paid for

All care is private pay. Iron Ridge is out-of-network with commercial PPOs and provides itemized superbills for members who choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their own carrier. We do not report to your insurance on your behalf.

Common questions

Does Iron Ridge offer a virtual IOP across Texas?

Yes. The same eight-week clinical arc runs by secure telehealth anywhere in Texas — nine to twelve clinical hours per week, the same clinicians, the same assessments, at the same price as attending in Austin.

Do I have to live in Austin to get treatment?

No. Men attend from Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, El Paso, the Valley, West Texas, and towns between.

Can I attend from outside Texas?

No. Our clinicians are licensed in Texas, so you need to be physically located in Texas during sessions. That is a licensing requirement, not a preference.

Is virtual treatment as effective as in person?

The arc, the clinicians, and the clinical hours are identical. What matters more than format is whether you can attend consistently and speak freely — for many men a private room at home makes that easier.

What do I need to attend?

A private space where you will not be overheard, a reliable connection, and a device with a camera.

Private pay. Out-of-network with PPO superbills. We do not report to your insurance on your behalf.
