Men's CSBD IOP in Round Rock, Texas
Men's intensive outpatient treatment for compulsive sexual behavior serving Round Rock, Texas. About 12 miles from our north Austin clinic, 18–25 minutes away.
The commute, honestly
Round Rock is about twelve miles from the clinic — 18 to 25 minutes via I-35 or SH-45 to Mopac outside peak, 30 to 40 when I-35 is backed up. Most men in Round Rock already make a version of this drive.
That matters more than the raw number. If you commute to Austin for work, attending an evening group in North Austin is a marginal addition rather than a new burden. In-person is the default recommendation here.
If you work at Dell or in the north tech corridor
Round Rock's employment base is concentrated, and that creates the same problem Westlake has for different reasons: the local counselling options are the ones your colleagues also use. Treatment on the Braker Lane side of the line is separate from the professional world you live in.
The billing model does the rest. Iron Ridge is private pay and out-of-network — no claim submitted, no authorisation requested, nothing reported to an employer or a carrier.
SH-45 versus I-35
Practically: if you are coming from Teravista, Forest Creek, or Behrens Ranch, SH-45 to Mopac is usually the more predictable route in the evening, even when it is not the shortest. I-35 through the Round Rock stretch is the variable that turns a 20-minute drive into a 40-minute one.

The consult call is a clinical conversation, not a sales call. A licensed member of the clinical team replies within one business day, nothing is charged, and if Iron Ridge is not the right level of care we will say so and point you toward what is.

The program
Iron Ridge runs a men-only intensive outpatient program for compulsive sexual behavior disorder (CSBD, ICD-11 6C72) and related patterns — pornography compulsivity, sexual compulsivity, sex and love addiction, online sex addiction, and repeated infidelity. Care is led by Ian Birdwell, LPC, CSAT, with concurrent Partner & Family Programming led by Roxcy Brown, LMFT-Associate, CCPS-C (supervised by Billy Myers, LMFT-S, Texas license 201183).
The clinical arc is 8 weeks, 9–12 clinical hours per week, 72–96 total hours: Stabilization (weeks 1–3), Trauma Processing (weeks 4–6), and Relapse Prevention (weeks 7–8). Group and individual sessions are structured around the same plan across every man in the cohort, without being generic.
Who this is for
The men we treat are usually working, often high-functioning, and rarely looking for a group therapy experience for its own sake. They are looking for a clinical structure that meets a real diagnostic threshold, discreetly, and gets to work.
You do not have to name it out loud on the first call. If you are here, that is enough to start a private conversation with our team.
How care is paid for
All care is private pay. Iron Ridge is out-of-network with commercial PPOs and provides itemized superbills for members who choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their own carrier. We do not report to your insurance on your behalf.

Common questions
How far is Iron Ridge Recovery from Round Rock?
about 12 miles from our clinic at 4030 W. Braker Ln in north Austin — 18–25 minutes in normal traffic and 30–40 minutes in heavier traffic, most directly via I-35 North or SH-45 to Mopac.
Should I attend in person or by telehealth from Round Rock?
In person. The drive is short enough that attending 18–25 minutes each way is realistic three times a week, and men from Round Rock are treated as part of the in-person track by default.
Is the virtual program different from attending in Austin?
No. Same eight-week clinical arc, same nine to twelve clinical hours per week, same clinicians, same assessments, same price. Only the room changes.
Is there a sex addiction or CSBD program in Round Rock?
Not one built exclusively for compulsive sexual behavior. Iron Ridge is the only Texas IOP specialising in it, serving Round Rock from north Austin and by secure telehealth statewide.
Will anyone in Round Rock know I am in treatment?
Not from us. Iron Ridge is private pay and out-of-network — we do not submit insurance claims, request authorisation, or contact employers or family members.
