Terms for using ironridgerecovery.com: the site is information, not treatment; how text messages and calls work, how to opt out, and limits of our liability.
These terms apply to the website at ironridgerecovery.com and to the ways you can contact Iron Ridge Recovery LLC through it. By using the site you agree to them. They are separate from, and do not replace, the treatment agreement and Notice of Privacy Practices you receive if you become a client.
The site is information, not treatment
Everything on this site, including the self-assessment and the chat assistant, is general information. It is not a diagnosis, not clinical advice, and not a substitute for an assessment by a licensed clinician. Reading a page, completing the self-assessment, or sending an enquiry does not create a therapist-client relationship.
Iron Ridge Recovery is an outpatient program and is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911.
Text messages (SMS)
When you call our published number and we cannot answer, we may send you one text message from that number to say when a clinician will call you back. If you text us, or tick the text-message consent box on the consult request form, you agree that Iron Ridge Recovery may send you text messages about scheduling and callbacks.
- Frequency. Message frequency may vary.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's standard charges apply to messages you send and receive.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one message confirming you have been opted out. Reply START to opt back in.
- Help. Reply HELP to any message, call (512) 877-8616, or email intake@ironridgerecovery.com.
- Content. Text messages are for scheduling and callbacks only. We do not put clinical detail in a text, and you should not either. Anything you want a clinician to know belongs on the call.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed. If a message matters, call us.
- Your consent and your mobile number are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. See the privacy policy for what we collect and who processes it.
Calls
Our published numbers are tracked lines and calls are recorded for clinical and quality purposes. If you would rather not be recorded, say so at the start of the call and we will stop the recording.
Your responsibilities
You agree not to use the site, the forms, or the chat assistant to send anything unlawful, to impersonate another person, or to attempt to gain access to systems or information that are not yours. You are responsible for the accuracy of the contact details you give us and for keeping your own device secure.
Our content
The text, images, and materials on this site belong to Iron Ridge Recovery LLC or are used with permission. You may read, print, and share pages for personal, non-commercial use with the source attributed. You may not reproduce them for commercial purposes without written permission.
No warranties and limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by Texas law, Iron Ridge Recovery LLC is not liable for losses arising from use of the site, from reliance on its content, or from delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page changes when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
