Men's CSBD IOP for Boerne, Texas
Men's IOP for compulsive sexual behavior serving Boerne, Texas by secure telehealth. Same eight-week clinical arc, same clinicians, and same price.
The honest picture
Boerne is in the San Antonio metro, not the Austin one. Our clinic is at 4030 W. Braker Ln in North Austin, and the drive is long enough that we do not present in-person attendance as a realistic option for a program running nine to twelve clinical hours a week.
Our actual recommendation
Telehealth, without qualification. For men in Boerne, Fair Oaks Ranch, and Cordillera Ranch, the virtual program is the program.
It is the same eight-week clinical arc with the same clinicians and the same clinical hours, priced identically to attending in person. Our clinicians are licensed in Texas, so you need to be physically located in the state during sessions — Boerne obviously qualifies.
Why men in the San Antonio area come to us anyway
Because the specialisation does not exist locally in this form. Iron Ridge is the only Texas intensive outpatient program built exclusively for compulsive sexual behavior, with a separately staffed partner track. Most alternatives are general mental health or substance use programs where this presentation sits alongside unrelated ones — which is the specific thing the men who reach us say they could not get past.
What you need to attend
A private space where you will not be overheard, a reliable connection, and a device with a camera. The privacy of the room matters more than the hardware. Everything else — assessments, group, individual sessions, partner programming — runs exactly as it does for a client attending in Austin.
Next step
The consult call is a clinical conversation, not a sales call. A licensed member of the clinical team replies within one business day, nothing is charged, and if Iron Ridge is not the right level of care we will say so and point you toward what is.

The program
Iron Ridge runs a men-only intensive outpatient program for compulsive sexual behavior disorder (CSBD, ICD-11 6C72) and related patterns — pornography compulsivity, sexual compulsivity, sex and love addiction, online sex addiction, and repeated infidelity. Care is led by Ian Birdwell, LPC, CSAT, with concurrent Partner & Family Programming led by Roxcy Brown, LMFT-Associate, CCPS-C (supervised by Billy Myers, LMFT-S, Texas license 201183).
The clinical arc is 8 weeks, 9–12 clinical hours per week, 72–96 total hours: Stabilization (weeks 1–3), Trauma Processing (weeks 4–6), and Relapse Prevention (weeks 7–8). Group and individual sessions are structured around the same plan across every man in the cohort, without being generic.
Who this is for
The men we treat are usually working, often high-functioning, and rarely looking for a group therapy experience for its own sake. They are looking for a clinical structure that meets a real diagnostic threshold, discreetly, and gets to work.
You do not have to name it out loud on the first call. If you are here, that is enough to start a private conversation with our team.
How care is paid for
All care is private pay. Iron Ridge is out-of-network with commercial PPOs and provides itemized superbills for members who choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their own carrier. We do not report to your insurance on your behalf.

Common questions
Can I attend Iron Ridge from Boerne?
Yes, by secure telehealth. Boerne is in the San Antonio metro and the drive to our north Austin clinic is too long to build an eight-week arc around, so the virtual program is the recommendation.
Is the telehealth program the same as attending in Austin?
Yes. Same eight-week clinical arc, same clinical hours, same clinicians, same price. Our clinicians are licensed in Texas, so you need to be physically in Texas during sessions.
Is there a CSBD program near Boerne or San Antonio?
Not one built exclusively for compulsive sexual behavior. Most alternatives are general mental health or substance use programs where this presentation sits alongside unrelated ones.
What do I need to attend virtually?
A private space where you will not be overheard, a reliable connection, and a device with a camera. The privacy of the room matters more than the equipment.
Does my partner get care too?
Yes, as a separate client with her own intake and her own clinician, delivered by telehealth on the same terms and included in the program cost.
