About Roxcy

Roxcy Brown is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist — Candidate (CCPS-C), trained through APSATS in the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model — the gold standard for working with partners of sexually compulsive clients. She leads Iron Ridge's Partner & Family programming, building a track of care that has historically been an afterthought in this field.

Her conviction is simple: when one person enters treatment, an entire system is in crisis. Partners deserve clinical attention — not a list of support-group meetings. Roxcy leads Iron Ridge's Partner & Family Program with a weekly individual session and a weekly group, coordinated directly with the man's IOP clinical team, and grounded in current trauma research.

She holds her CCPS-C credential through APSATS (Association of Partners of Sexual Compulsivity Trauma Specialists) and is licensed to practice in Texas (LMFT-A #204940).

For partners reading this in the middle of it

If you are the partner who just found out — or has suspected for a long time and finally has confirmation — you are not overreacting. The disorientation, the intrusive thoughts, the sleep that will not come, the questioning of every memory you have of the relationship: those are not signs that you are unwell. They are the recognized clinical picture of betrayal trauma, and they are treatable.

You do not have to know what you want the outcome of your relationship to be in order to start clinical work. Your care is on its own track, on its own timeline, with a clinician trained specifically in partner trauma.
